On the day things can change. You need a band that can go with changes without disagreement. Jazz not Jazz musicians will do all they can to help make your day a success. If they see an opportunity to make suggestions to improve their service they will. Don`t forget, each musician is chosen for their musical and life experience! If your needs as a client change as the day progresses, speak to the guys, they will be sympathetic to your needs and go with your requirements. They are totally customer focussed.

Before your event your band will have been properly briefed as to where to be, when to be there, what to wear, who to speak to, how to get to the event, what music to play, how loud or quiet to play it and when to stop.

We understand that our musicians are representing your organisation. If they look bad in front of your customers so do you. Our musicians look as good as they sound and they sound great!

We choose our players for there ability to hold their own in company and be polite, amusing, helpful and engaging whilst working on your behalf. We do a great many events where celebrities are present. Amongst many others we have played to Des O Connor, Princess Margaret, Tom Stoppard, Felicity Kendall, Sir Robin Day, Sir Andrew Loyd Webber, Judie Dench, Donald Sinden, Jools Holland and Mark Almond. Celebrities do not appreciate being pestered by star struck fans at private events. We understand this and so do our musicians.

As the owner of Jazz not Jazz and a professional musician myself, I have chosen to work with only the best. I have seen them work, have played alongside them and have seen how they deport themselves before booking them on my own
engagements. Be assured that all our players are properly vetted. Many of them are musicians who have worked as sidemen and women for such top artists as Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Robbie Williams, Edie Reader, Billy Ocean, Cliff Richard, Beverley Craven, Phil Collins, Kate Bush and Lisa Stansfield.
